This is a 6 bladed propeller suitable as replacement for the BOW45/80, until '98 Working in close collaboration with the Maritime Research Institute Netherlands (MARIN), the world-famous hydrodynamic laboratory, VETUS has optimised the performance of its thrusters. This has been achieved by utilising a unique propeller blade profile, which creates little or no cavitation. As cavitation produces unwanted noise, this new blade design offers a major reduction in the operating sound levels for VETUS bow thrusters. Moreover, the application of this new propeller has reduced the current consumption by up to 10%.
So much better than the rubber ones I took off, easy install!

Where Have You Been All My Boating Life?
What a great little piece of tech - I don't know how we got by without it in the past. No more guessing how full the holding tank is or having to clean icky tank senders. This little bluetooth RADAR sending unit mounts on top of the tank and connects wirelessly to our Victron Cerbo.
Setup is super easy, push the button on the unit so it can calibrate to the tank then enable bluetooth and set up your rank dimensions on your Cerbo. It's as easy as that.
We've had it installed and running for about two weeks now and couldn't be more pleased (We like it enough that I ordered a second one for our water tank.)
