U-Cleat is a rubber mooring compensator with a removable locking mechanism. A unique solution where the line needs no free end before installation. This makes it simple to use and provides more options than conventional mooring compensators
U-Cleat is simplicity through innovation
U-Cleat is very easy to attach and remove from mooring lines! It’s also easy to move the compensator along the line or switch it to another one. And now you no longer have to leave your mooring compensators behind when you leave your home jetty.
The compensator is easily fitted on lines with eye splices or thimbles at one or both ends. When it’s time to wash the lines, U-Cleat is easy to remove. The innovative locking mechanism between the rope and compensator provides optimal locking without affecting the strength or durability of the line. The rippled rubber body provides a greater diameter to wrap the rope end around, increasing the maximum travel of the compensator without affecting its other properties.
U-Cleat is made in EPDM rubber with embedded fibreglass reinforced polyamide inserts for enhanced durability and performance. The removable locking wedges are made from fibreglass-reinforced polypropylene.
So much better than the rubber ones I took off, easy install!

Where Have You Been All My Boating Life?
What a great little piece of tech - I don't know how we got by without it in the past. No more guessing how full the holding tank is or having to clean icky tank senders. This little bluetooth RADAR sending unit mounts on top of the tank and connects wirelessly to our Victron Cerbo.
Setup is super easy, push the button on the unit so it can calibrate to the tank then enable bluetooth and set up your rank dimensions on your Cerbo. It's as easy as that.
We've had it installed and running for about two weeks now and couldn't be more pleased (We like it enough that I ordered a second one for our water tank.)
Lots of wiring - no leaks! Be sure to run ALL the wires through BEFORE completing the run!

"Currently" super happy.
Installed on Yanmar 4JH57 engines with Zeus Controllers - HOLY WOW power. Losing some power at top end but overall very satisfied. Will do a long term review later. Talk about power - hope to never need my generator again!

Great design but fail fast in the caribbean sun...
We bought these boots in 2022, and are buying new ones 3 years later. We love the design and the fact that they are easy to remove for inspection of the rig.
