The Octopus Remote Sailboat Drive System makes it easy and economical to install an automatic pilot on light displacement Sail Boats steered with a mechanical system from a wheel or tiller. The system is designed for the modern mid range sail boat which has restricted space to mount a standard Linear drive. The drive is very responsive and has little feedback resistance when in 'Stand by' mode making it very suitable for racing yachts.
Recommended for Yachts up to 38Ft (11.5m) with a maximum displacement of 15400 Ibs / 7000 Kg.
The system includes a drive unit, a steering cable and a linear drive connection kit. The drive unit Can be mounted either horizontal or vertically in any convenient location. The steering cable length is determined by the relative position of the drive unit to the linear drive connection kit.
So much better than the rubber ones I took off, easy install!

Where Have You Been All My Boating Life?
What a great little piece of tech - I don't know how we got by without it in the past. No more guessing how full the holding tank is or having to clean icky tank senders. This little bluetooth RADAR sending unit mounts on top of the tank and connects wirelessly to our Victron Cerbo.
Setup is super easy, push the button on the unit so it can calibrate to the tank then enable bluetooth and set up your rank dimensions on your Cerbo. It's as easy as that.
We've had it installed and running for about two weeks now and couldn't be more pleased (We like it enough that I ordered a second one for our water tank.)
Lots of wiring - no leaks! Be sure to run ALL the wires through BEFORE completing the run!

"Currently" super happy.
Installed on Yanmar 4JH57 engines with Zeus Controllers - HOLY WOW power. Losing some power at top end but overall very satisfied. Will do a long term review later. Talk about power - hope to never need my generator again!
