Increase your situational awareness and confidence on the water with the Garmin AIS 800 transceiver. It has 5 watts of transmit power and provides faster position reporting than ever before¹. It transmits your vessel information to other AIS receivers in your area while it receives their AIS target data. Garmin AIS 800 has an internal VHF antenna splitter, which allows the VHF and AIS to share a single antenna. It includes a built-in GPS (with connector for optional external antenna) and integrates seamlessly into the Garmin onboard system. The transceiver features NMEA 2000 connectivity for easy integration with compatible chartplotters and multifunction displays. Where Have You Been All My Boating Life?
What a great little piece of tech - I don't know how we got by without it in the past. No more guessing how full the holding tank is or having to clean icky tank senders. This little bluetooth RADAR sending unit mounts on top of the tank and connects wirelessly to our Victron Cerbo.
Setup is super easy, push the button on the unit so it can calibrate to the tank then enable bluetooth and set up your rank dimensions on your Cerbo. It's as easy as that.
We've had it installed and running for about two weeks now and couldn't be more pleased (We like it enough that I ordered a second one for our water tank.)
Lots of wiring - no leaks! Be sure to run ALL the wires through BEFORE completing the run!

"Currently" super happy.
Installed on Yanmar 4JH57 engines with Zeus Controllers - HOLY WOW power. Losing some power at top end but overall very satisfied. Will do a long term review later. Talk about power - hope to never need my generator again!

Great design but fail fast in the caribbean sun...
We bought these boots in 2022, and are buying new ones 3 years later. We love the design and the fact that they are easy to remove for inspection of the rig.
