Kronos 4" Speedometer - 60MPH (Mechanical)
Polished Stainless Steel bezel, flat glass lens, perimeter lighted spun aluminum dial with Gold and Black graphics. Gold increments and Logo on dial are Embossed. All instruments include two piece Newport pointer with White hub.
Electronic speedometers operate by capturing pulses produced by a sensor. the pulses are then electronically converted to a speed reading very much like a tachometer converts ignition pulses to RPM.
Pitot tube type speedometers operate by pressure from the water being forced into the pitot tube. This pressure is then transmitted through flexible tubing to the bourdon tube movement inside the speedometer head where it is converted into a speed reading by the movement mechanism.

Where Have You Been All My Boating Life?
What a great little piece of tech - I don't know how we got by without it in the past. No more guessing how full the holding tank is or having to clean icky tank senders. This little bluetooth RADAR sending unit mounts on top of the tank and connects wirelessly to our Victron Cerbo.
Setup is super easy, push the button on the unit so it can calibrate to the tank then enable bluetooth and set up your rank dimensions on your Cerbo. It's as easy as that.
We've had it installed and running for about two weeks now and couldn't be more pleased (We like it enough that I ordered a second one for our water tank.)
