Low Friction Ring Strap Eye - Stainless Steel
For the concerning dinghy sailor. Barton has offered stainless steel deck eyes for a long while, but as performance on boats improves, the desire to reduce friction on deck fixings and turning points of lines becomes more important. By adding the low friction ring that is pressed into the stainless steel strap, it gives a low profile and low friction rope guide for small lines.
This can be used with a range of lines for sailing boats using small-diameter ropes. The HV500 anodized coating on the Low Friction Rings produced by Barton gives the ultimate performance and durability. The hard anodizing feature means there is only 15% load-bearing friction on this fitting.
So much better than the rubber ones I took off, easy install!

Where Have You Been All My Boating Life?
What a great little piece of tech - I don't know how we got by without it in the past. No more guessing how full the holding tank is or having to clean icky tank senders. This little bluetooth RADAR sending unit mounts on top of the tank and connects wirelessly to our Victron Cerbo.
Setup is super easy, push the button on the unit so it can calibrate to the tank then enable bluetooth and set up your rank dimensions on your Cerbo. It's as easy as that.
We've had it installed and running for about two weeks now and couldn't be more pleased (We like it enough that I ordered a second one for our water tank.)
